General Election once every 5 year is the time where we can ‘decide our country’s future’. Why I put it in an inverted comers is that I seriously do not know how people see the purpose behind all the GE that is going on…
Seriously, all over the internet and street people are debating on the topic of election. PAP vs opposition. Why Singaporeans can make so much noise?? I didn’t say that NO, YOU CANT TALK ABOUT THEM. You can talk about them, but then scolding those candidates all over the web?? So what if you think some of them is not cut-out to be MPs? If they are candidates of your district then just don’t vote for them. I seriously don’t think that there is a need to scold them facebook or even better, scold the whole party on facebook. What is wrong with the candidates that come out for elections? They want to serve the country and the citizens which is you people also have to face so many arguments, then might as well we don’t have government and no one serve us, isn’t it better?
I really think that the purpose of letting the people choose their government have come to a point whereby it is losing its purpose.
And today is the polling/ voting day whereby everything will finally come to an end and then the results will be out. Many people are waiting for the results cause they wants to see whether PAP or OPPOSITION will win. Does it really matter? I think whats really matter most is that the leaders of the country hears our voice. Who can make sure that by voting for the opposition or pap can help? No one knows the future and we are lucky that we are able to choose who will create the future of Singapore for us. So can people stop complaining and also scolding any of the candidates on the internet cause it is really seriously getting a bit annoying.
Each time when I open my facebook, I will see comments and posts that are siding the different sides. It is good to be concerned for our country but pls dun be over concern. I seriously hope that all the complaining and the scolding will stop as the people will be choosen at the night. After 8 am, not matter how you complain or scold everything will remain unchanged, so it is pointlesss lar!!!
